Employees use the app on their smartphones to mark their attendance. When they check in or check out, the app requires them to take a live picture and captures their GPS coordinates at that specific moment. This data is then available for the employer to view and manage.
The Dawamak app is available for download on both Android and iOS devices. You can find it on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
You cannot sign up directly. Your employer must first create an account for you using your name, email, and phone number. Once they have created your account, you will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to download the app and set your password.
No. The Dawamak app does not track your location continuously. It only records your GPS coordinates at the exact moment you press the "Check-in" and "Check-out" buttons. Your location is not tracked before you check in or after you check out.
Your privacy is our priority. Only your employer (or designated managers with administrative access) can view your location data and check-in/out photos. This information is used strictly for attendance verification and is never shared with other employees or any third parties.
Dawamak is designed to be minimally invasive. The app only collects the following information: Your name, email, and phone number (as provided by your employer). Your GPS location and a live photo, but only when you check in or check out. We do not access your personal contacts, other photos, messages, or any other private information on your device.
Yes, you can easily view your complete attendance history directly within the app. This record will include the times, dates, and photos for all your previous check-ins and check-outs.
You can easily reset your password from the app's login screen. Just tap the "Forgot Password?" link and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new one.
The app is optimized to use minimal resources. Since it is not running in the background or tracking you continuously, battery and data usage is very low and occurs mainly when you are actively using the app to check in or out.
As an administrator, you can add new employees through your employer dashboard. You will need to provide their full name, a valid email address, and phone number. Once added, the employee will automatically receive a welcome email to get started.
You can access all attendance records, including check-in/out times, photos, and location maps, through your secure employer portal or dashboard.
Yes, the employer dashboard allows you to generate and export detailed attendance reports for specific date ranges, which can be easily used for payroll processing and record-keeping.
You can deactivate or delete the employee's profile from your employer dashboard. This will revoke their access to the app and remove them from your active employee list.
